For the 16th May 2021 Edition, we monitored 109 European funding calls resumed in single Synopses. This week we talk about the Enterprise Europe Network, the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Launched in 2008 by the European Commission, it has been co-funded by the COSME Programme, one of the main EU instrument for supporting competitiveness of enterprises and SMEs. The network is spread out all over European Union and last week, the European Commission published the new call for funding with 147 MEur, the new EEN for 2022-2025 years. Potential applicants are many: i.e. SME support organisations; trade promotion organisations (TPOs); business organisations and representative organisations of SMEs; Regional development agencies; Innovation agencies; Research organisations or foundations; (Business support units of) higher education institutions. Services are expected to be provided at regional level. Proposals to the new call must be submitted by consortia made up of at least two entities (host organisations) in the covered geographic area. Other 4 new funding calls come from the Europeaid Department for supporting developing countries on many fields.
